The Wilde Custom Gear Modular Chest Rig is a custom configurable MOLLE based Chest Rig that consists of the Modular Chest Rig Base Platform and Modular Chest Rig Shoulder and Waist Straps. We provide the Modular Chest Rig in a bare configuration to allow the user to configure the chest rig to meet their needs.
The Wilde Custom Gear Modular Chest Rig Base Platform is a Laser Cut 1000D Nylon and Squadron Laminate Fabric base that attaches to the Modular Chest Rig Shoulder and Waist Straps.
The single piece Squadron Laminate fabric shoulder straps are tough, lightweight, flexible and can integrate with other Wilde Custom Gear Chest Rigs and Placards. The shoulder straps end in side release buckles for quick donning and doffing.
The Modular Chest Rig Shoulder Straps are 2” wide to comfortably distribute the load and feature additional laser cut MOLLE slots for attaching pouches and accessories. The Modular Chest Rig Shoulder Straps attach to the Modular Chest Rig Base Platform with side release buckles allowing for size adjustment and quick donning and doffing.
The Modular Chest Rig Shoulder Straps can be used in the stock X configuration, or in the H configuration with the additional H configuration adapter (sold separately).
The front of the Modular Chest Rig Base Platform features 8 MOLLE columns and 5 MOLLE rows (approximately 13” wide and 6” tall).
The back of the Modular Chest Rig Base Platform has a zippered top that allows access to the entire inside of the base platform for additional storage.
The back of the Modular Chest Rig Base Platform also features a covered Velcro patch for the attachment of drop accessories (coming soon).
The four side release buckles tuck away under four strips of elastic to provide a clean front appearance to convert the Modular Chest Rig Base Platform into a placard for use on the Wilde Custom Gear Modular Vest Carrier and Wilde Custom Gear Modular Plate Carrier.
Be ready for anything by having multiple Modular Chest Rig Base Platforms already configured.
This stuff is built tough and you can feel it once you get it in your hands. I'm looking forward to putting it to use. The Malice clips were perfect for the 3x double .308 mag pouches.
I am so happy this fit me as a big guy. Not quite low enough under my chest and over my belly but it will suffice for my use.

Just received it. It feels like it's been put together well. So far I've had zero bad experiences w/ WCG. I'm only waiting to get to the range to try it live!
