Rammr Laser Cut Thermoplastic Cummerbund - Tactik Buckle Quick Release

The Wilde Custom Gear Rammr Laser Cut Thermoplastic Cummerbund is the next generation of semi-rigid load bearing quick release plate carrier cummerbunds.

"Rammr" is the Norse word for mighty, powerful and strong.  That exemplifies all the features of this advanced semi-rigid cummerbund.

The base layer is made of Curv lightweight heat-compacted woven polymer thermoplastic composite material which exhibits amazing stiffness while maintaining flexibility with an unparalleled light weight.  The CURV thermoplastic stiffener confidently carries heavy loads and will not sag.  We laminate the Curv thermoplastic base layer with 1000d cordura fabric and laser cut the skeletonized MOLLE squares 

The Wilde Custom Gear Rammr Laser Cut Thermoplastic Cummerbund uses the quick-release Tactik Buckle by National Molding that incorporates an anti-break locking system and includes a beaded lanyard pull for disengaging the buckle. The two pieces mate in a way similar to two fists interlocking at the fingers.  A pull away from the body disengages the two pieces.  A very natural and intuitive movement.  The two pieces snap back together with ease.

The skeletonized design reduces overall weight, promotes airflow and allows for attachment to the inside and outside of the cummerbund.

Heavy duty Mil-Spec elastic bungee is used to join the cummerbund together which allows for expansion during activity. The cord is easily adjusted for the perfect fit.

The Wilde Custom Gear Rammr Laser Cut Thermoplastic Cummerbund can be adapted to a variety of plate carrier styles with the following rear plate bag configurations:

Rear Plate Bag Pass Through Channel – Slide the cummerbund through the passthrough channel.
MOLLE – Weave the elastic bungee through one column of MOLLE on the rear plate bag to keep it in place, our use one Tactical Tailor Malice Clip (Long) to weave through one column to create individual channels to guide the shock cord through to keep in place. 
Velcro – We are currently designing a solution to keep the rear of the Rammr secure when using a plate carrier with an exposed Velcro field on the back.  This will be updated when that solution is available.
