What magazines will this 20-round pouch fit?
This rugged 308 magazine pouch is designed to fit most 20-round 7.62×51 magazines, including AR-10/AR-308 rifles, M1A/M14 magazines, SCAR-H, HK G3, FN-FAL, and PMAG® style mags. Each pocket is sized for thicker magazines and uses a shock-cord retention system to hold them securely. Elastic or shock-cord retention grips the magazine body while still allowing quick access, so curved mags like the M14 and LR-308 fit snugly.
How many magazines can I carry?
We offer AR-10 / .308 / M1A / M14 pouches in configurations holding from one up to six 20-round mags. Options include single, double (side-by-side or double-stacked), triple (side-by-side), four-mag (double-stacked shingle), and six-mag shingles. Each magazine sits in its own pocket, so you can draw one without dislodging the rest.
What materials make this AR-10/M14 mag pouch so durable?
We use mil-spec 1000-denier Cordura® nylon, stitched and bar-tacked at stress points. 1000D fabric provides outstanding abrasion resistance with a durable water-repellent finish. Combined with reinforced stitching, this pouch handles heavy loads, field conditions, and frequent range use.
How does the shock-cord retention system work?
Instead of a flap, a shock-cord and pull-tab system wraps the magazine and pinches it in place. To draw the mag, lift the pull-tab, clear the cord, and pull. It is fast, quiet, and keeps the top of the pouch open for quick reloads while maintaining secure retention.
Is this M1A/M14 mag pouch compatible with MOLLE gear?
Yes. Each pouch includes MOLLE-compatible webbing on the back and ships with Tactical Tailor Long MALICE Clips for attachment. MALICE Clips are heavy-duty, reusable connectors designed for MOLLE/PALS; once closed, they will not open until disengaged with a flat tool.
Can I mount this pouch on a belt?
Absolutely. A MOLLE belt adapter (sold separately) allows threading onto 1.5 to 2 inch belts. The included MALICE Clips also work on battle belts with MOLLE channels. For quick-detach setups, Tek-Lok® style adapters are compatible and provide additional mounting flexibility.
What color and camouflage options are available?
Available finishes include Black, Coyote Brown, Ranger Green, OD Green, Gray, Multicam®, Multicam Black, and M81 Woodland. All variations use the same rugged 1000D Cordura® and shock-cord retention.
