Wilde Custom Gear has developed a knife sheath built around the famous ESSE and Ontario Knife Company RAT series of fixed blade knives.
The MOLLE Knife Sheath - ESEE OKC series - is an outer sheath system for fixed blade knives. The MOLLE Knife Sheath allows the user the flexibility to mount the knife on any piece of gear that has MOLLE/PALS attaching system.
The MOLLE Knife Sheath features a 2 inch belt loop built in so it can be worn as a belt sheath. MOLLE attachment points on the front of the MOLLE Knife Sheath provide the option to attach other pieces of gear like magazine or utility pouches directly to the sheath. The MOLLE Knife Sheath has an adjustable snap closure that secures the knife handle in the sheath.
The MOLLE Knife Sheath is made with Squadron Laminate Fabric, 1000D Cordura and MILSPEC Webbing inner liner.
The MOLLE Knife Sheath has two grommets at the bottom to be used with user supplied 550 paracord for a drop leg configuration.

Clearly this is meant to be worn on a belt, dropped down onto one’s thigh, but it wears fine on my plate carrier! Fits my v42 stilleto quite well despite being 1/2” longer than the listed max blade length. Strap and molle are both a breeze to affix as well as very secure what with the back fold on the end of the strap. Doesn’t quite *hug* the blade like I’d like it to but that may be able to be adjusted user end, and my knife is not as wide as many. A good investment!
