Rigid Velcro Cummerbund Adapter

Rigid Velcro Cummerbund Adapter provides a solution to adapt plate carriers with loop velcro to accept open-ended webbing and shock cord based cummerbunds such as our own Rammr Laser Cut Thermoplastic Cummerbund.

The Rigid Velcro Cummerbund Adapter breaks the barrier of being limited to one style of plate carrier and cummerbund and allows you to mix and match for the best solution for your mission needs.

The Rigid Velcro Cummerbund Adapter starts with a 5" tall x 3" wide (approximate) sheet of CURV thermoplastic.  We laminate one side of the CURV with 1000d fabric for color and sew color matching MOLLE webbing to the face.  On the back is a strip of 1.5" wide hook velcro to adhere to the loop velcro field on your plate carrier.

The Rigid Velcro Cummerbund Adapter provides flexibility with two different mounting options for a variety of cummerbunds.

1. MOLLE webbing is sewn down the center to allow you to use secure open-ended webbing cummerbunds.
2. Holes on each side provide points to weave shock cord through.  #1 grommets are installed in each hole (.25" diameter) to allow for smooth travel of shock cord and reduce friction against the thermoplastic and fraying of the shock cord.
